ARM Powered:
The TTI Generation VI Communicator is designed around a state-of-the-art 32-bit, ARM-based, RISC microcontroller with integrated voice/data telephony and video/speech processing technology.
Drawing minimal power, via a sophisticated power management architecture, its principal functionality is entirely phone line powered. As a result, product can be placed at virtually any remote location, utilizing the most reliable telephone line infrastructure available, the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
Where it is not cost effective to run electrical wiring and place AC power outlets, PSTN phone lines can be easily and inexpensively installed (if not already preexisting).
Where electrical power is subject to outages, the PSTN provides power to analog phone lines when other forms of communication infrastructure fail.
