Instead of poorly motivated and cross-trained in-house sales associates, the TTI Retail Marketing System can provide timely marketing information about the retail institution’s products and, when appropriate, connect the prospective customer with the product manufacturer’s pre-sales customer service department and/or manufacturer’s marketing representative.
As opposed to prior efforts, by retail institutions, to implement Web based interactive terminals, which place the onus on the consumer to carry out the sales process, the TTI Retail Marketing System allows the manufacturer to drive the sales process.
Instead of turning away a qualified sales lead, the TTI Retail Marketing System will deliver that lead to a properly trained manufacturer’s representative, utilizing the conventional and familiar telephone interface.
By the use of directory menuing and an interfaced product Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) bar code reader (where applicable), the customer can easily and quickly be directed to the requested product information. Pre-recorded presentation information can be self-contained within the Retail Marketing System, with personalized and interactive information provided through connection to a live product representative.
