ResPhone Communicator — Overview
TTI’s line of Multi-Media ResPhone Communicators, provide a direct person-to-person communications link for customers located at public transportation sites, where it is impractical or incapable of having a manned presence. The ResPhone is also designed to display and provide pre-recorded information, allowing frequently asked questions, general and promotional information to be provided without requiring a telephone call being placed.
The TTI ResPhone provides an immediate operational cost savings, while maintaining the person-to-person communications customers expect. Additionally, the multi-media functionality allows for value-added services, such as advertisements and content delivery, providing an extra revenue stream for the company offering such services.
The ResPhone is constructed of vandal-resistant, contemporary materials and is architecturally designed for greatest marketing impact. It displays, at a glance, instant clarity of purpose and familiarity of operation for the service(s) being offered. The ResPhone is set into a surround, kiosk, enclosure, fascia or mounted to a wall or counter-top. It is secured to its mounting surface with tamper-proof security screws. The standard ResPhone design permits for on-site configuration of either wall or counter mounting, in both permanent and semi-permanent installations.
The ResPhone is constructed of high strength, color permeated, polyurethane and/or powercoated metals with impact resistant acrylic. The ResPhones provide integrated graphics and/or LCD screens for a color corporate identity and/or promotional/instructional display. Artwork generation, color matching and custom design services are available through TTI's architectural design department, as part of the ordering process.
Each ResPhone contains the following:
• telephone handset with armored cable, which is available in black, white, red, light gray and beige. Custom colored handsets are available in colors to match specific Pantone requirements (additional costs apply).
• chrome plated handset cradle or thermo-formed plastic cradle with concealed and vandal-proof, non-mechanical hookswitch.
• discreet vandal-resistant "Call Activation" push button(s) and/or concealed electromagnetic hookswitch activator. A keypad is also available for interaction with an auto-attendant or interactive voice response system (IVR).
• graphical display panel with color artwork and/or dynamic LCD screen.
Optional Retractable Cord — For counter or kiosk installations, the ResPhone can be provided with a maintenance free, tangle and jam resistant, retractable cord mechanism. It provides for reduced vandalism and for an aesthetically pleasing handset appearance, when in the retracted, seated position.
